Your registration fee gets you a chance to win running awards if you're first in your age group, a chance to win the best costume prize, a free t-shirt, product samples and promotions provided by Run For Your Life sponsors, and truckloads of fun!
We offer online registration for each event. Choose your location in the yellow drop-down menu in the upper right of this page, then click on "Register." You can also register in person the day of the race, but come early!
Yes, all of the proceeds of Run For Your Life go to Extra Hands for ALS, a national voluntary service charity which is dedicated to "developing young leaders through the fight against ALS." Is my Registration fee for the race tax-deductible?top
Unfortunately, per IRS regulations, individual Registration fees for the Race are not tax-deductible. Only donations or pledges over and above the registration fee are tax-deductible.
Do I need a receipt for my donation or pledge for tax purposes?top
In compliance with IRS requirements, receipts will be issued for individual contributions of $250 or more. Receipts will be automatically generated and mailed directly to the donor prior to the end of the calendar year. For contributions under $250, a canceled check serves as your receipt.
